Life is so different than it was 9 years ago.
Life could be so different than it was 9 years ago.
And for both of these reasons, I'm especially thankful for these last 9 years.
Hoping for at least 9 more but if I don't get them, I'm okay with that.
Remembering Brittany who didn't have the opportunity for 9 more.........

March is a though month for me. Both of my parents and Jim's have passed away during March. March 22 2001 was the worst day of all. I still give thanks for Linda Arneson coming along and being so brave, offering you help, giving you life. Since then you have given us much joy.
It was very eery to look at the pictures of the marsh. It brought back a lot of very different feelings . . . fear, worry, anger, and finally thankfulness that you were okay.
We love you. You are a terrific daughter and mother.
