Cinderella

We went to Wee Repeat, a consignment shop, a few blocks from our house today and I stumbled upon a few princess dresses. I let Kya choose one; she chose Cinderella and she hasn't taken it off since. (I think I got my moneys worth already!) So maybe some more dress up clothes will be in order for her birthday. As you can see, Kya doesn't limit herself when she's all dressed up.


Cinderella didn't quite make it until midnight tonight or 6:30 for that matter.

Sleeping Beauty Obsession

How lucky was I to find a mini book (which Kya is also obsessed with) of Sleeping Beauty at Goodwill?-I think I paid 49 cents for it! Score!

Our homemade wand-two paper stars cut out and stapled together, stuffed with newspaper and ribbon and a stick is our handle. I thought this would be a much better use of my money than the $5-10 they wanted at the store (and if I do say so myself, much cuter)! We whipped up some more for a few of Kya's friends too!

Kya has gotten into casting spells with her wand-trying to turn all of us into goons! (Reading Little Bunny Foo Foo has contributed to the wand craze!)
