Mother's Day

Gifts from my children.....

My own mother was visiting over Mother's Day. We spent the day painting my kitchen. Although I loathe painting, the hours passed quickly as we talked and friends stopped in to say "hi" and bring baked goods (Hello crepe cake-thank you Miss Stine). I made mushroom-lentil asian tacos from Sprouted Kitchen's blog after we had tucked the kids into bed. I owe my Mom a HUGE "Thank you" for her help painting the kitchen, the sacrifices she's made and the abuse she's taken over the years, the unconditional love she's provided and the hand she is always there to lend. Thank you!
